Job description


A very good knowledge of Dutch, French and English is mandatory for this junior position.

You build and maintain a lifelong relationship with both new and existing customers. In doing so, you stimulate turnover growth and contribute to long-term profitability.
Your communication skills enable you to handle complaints in a reliable, efficient and friendly way. The goal is to motivate our customers to shop at IKEA more often because they are confident that a visit is always worth it and is a pleasant experience.
You have solid experience as a leader and you are a real team player, which enables you to solve problems and make decisions in a challenging and ever-changing retail environment.
You challenge both yourself and your team to exceed the expectations of our customers and constantly find new and better ways of working.


You translate the business plan of the store into a clear action plan for your department and you implement the various actions. In doing so, you contribute to the positioning of the IKEA store as the leader in interior design on the local market.
You coach and guide your team to achieve targets together and give customers an exceptional shopping experience.
You are a born problem-solver: you listen to the customer and draw on your knowledge to offer solutions and make decisions.
You constantly look for new opportunities to improve the efficiency and future shopping experience of our customers.
You implement new ways of working in the constantly changing omnichannel world.
You coach, motivate, inspire and engage your team to achieve the targets set.
