To better serve our customers, we at IKEA have transformed our Customer Support Center into a modern and customer-oriented Remote Customer Meeting Point (RCMP); a crucial part of our omnichannel retail ecosystem. Within the Communications team of IKEA Finland, we are now hiring for a Communication Business Partner who will focus on implementing communications to support our change and transformation as a business, focusing on our Remote Customer Meeting Point (RCMP).
This is a fixed-time role, continuing until 31st of August 2024.
In your role as a Communications Business Partner, your key assignment is to develop a unit communication plan that secures the contribution of communication to drive the business outcomes in the function group in close collaboration with your colleagues within the RCMP. You will also work to place the implementation and responsibilities of this strategy within the different teams of the new organization to ensure robust, long-standing working ways for the coming years. In this role, you will also take part in other internal communications initiatives together with the Communication team of IKEA Finland where necessary.
You also will:
• Develop and implement the unit’s organizational communication strategy with key stakeholders, to ensure support to the rapidly developing business needs.
• Be a communication expert and support for communication needs and advice on effective choices within the RCMP
• Lead the change communication to make the RCMP objectives and goals a living reality within the RCMP and the wider IKEA business in Finland
• By engaging managers to lead through communication, you will ensure that the exciting journey of how we are building tomorrow's IKEA through the RCMP is shared to the many IKEA co-workers
• In close contact with colleagues from the Global RCMP team and other markets, you apply their experiences and findings for our Finnish RCMP Comms (and vice versa).
The role is located at IKEA Finland’s Service Office. In this role you will report to the Country Communication Manager, but you will be working closely with the RCMP organization located in Leppävaara, Espoo. Through this setup, we ensure that the RCMP communication strategy, channels and messages are in line with our national level operations and ways of working.

To be successful in this role you need advanced training in communications or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience within the area of communication (emphasis on internal communication, external added value). You have proven experience in working with strategic communication and/or business leadership, and excellent interpersonal skills.
You have knowledge in following areas:
• Knowledge of working in the field of organizational and change communication
• Knowledge of using insights to formulate communication plans and activities to meet IKEA business and receiver needs
• Up to date knowledge of how to lead communication by defining, planning and executing to relevant stakeholders to keep our co-workers well informed
• Expertise in advisory skills to support the business unit managers in leading through communication
• Strong written and spoken communication skills (English and Finnish)
