Contract type: 9 months, fixed-term contract, 39 hrs per week
Base Location: Warrington
Working pattern: Monday-Friday (hybrid approach, remote and office)

As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the data cleansing on our current system CODA. You will be collaborating with the teams within the finance function and other departments to ensure the reconciliations and adjustments are completed effectively and accurately to support the go-live date of our transition to a new system, SAP. Further duties include weekly payment runs, answering supplier queries and supplier account reconciliations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a high-volume environment where priorities often change.

Essential Requirements
• Previous AP experience within a large organisation
• Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• A finance-related degree would be beneficial and/or studying towards an accounting qualification / qualified by experience will also be considered for this role
• Excellent time management, organizational, and data analytic skills
• Intermediate to Advanced experience in Excel and other MS Office Packages
• Great communication skills and ability to build trustful relationships with your stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle multiple topics and changing priorities/deadlines
• Self-reliant and self-motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Preparing various types of reconciliations, securing internal controls, and ensuring the supporting detail is an accurate and true reflection of the current position and where necessary contacting stakeholders to discuss
• Ensuring that all data is processed on time
• Actively take part in finance meetings
• Supporting the Finance team with any ad-hoc projects
